I met Trent about 3 years ago when he offered to provide an appraisal on the house.  Over the years Trent kept in touch, when we decided to sell obviously Trent was the first agent we called in. We interviewed a couple of other agents as well, but felt that they didn’t have the same enthusiasm for the sale as Trent. We were happy with the whole process, I thought it was an efficiently run campaign.  I am a control freak and I thought Trent dealt with that very well.  He listened to what I had to say and didn’t have any problems with changing wording or photographs in the advertisements. We were disappointed with the initial figures that were coming in, however Trent worked so hard to get a price that we would sell for. Trent would always return my calls promptly and he didn’t try to ‘sell’ to me.  The level of work that Trent put in was far more than I had experienced in the past.  We had more people through and had 3 open homes a week + private viewings. I was also really happy with the fabulous editorial in the courier mail that Trent arranged. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Trent.

His initial reaction to the property upon viewing was pleasing, as some other agents looked disinterested, and he was the only agent to suggest auctioning the property. The professionalism of both Ray White and Trent personally impressed me.  Trent followed through on promises and did what he said he would do.  I met with 5 real estate agents – one was extremely pushy, one didn’t give two hoots and would have taken the first offer, one was a little negative about the market etc. When I met with Alistair I was impressed with his assessment of the housing market, and the presentation material was excellent. I felt he gave enough information but wasn’t pushy.  I felt comfortable with him. I chose auction as Alistair recommended it – and by the feedback prior to putting it on the market it was the right thing to do. I must admit (as Alistair would too) that I did question the logic as the open houses went along as the interest was there but not the price, but  in the end the auction worked for us and we were most delighted with the outcome.  Alistair called after every open house which I really appreciated, I can imagine with other agents waiting in angst all weekend waiting for the feedback.  I was kept in the loop at all times, and was given honest feedback.  I think you have a really good thing going and I can’t think of any changes that I would make. The Moet the afternoon after the sale was the icing on the cake. Very impressed 🙂  I think I still would have been very happy with the sale of the house, even if we had got a lower price as the market is what it is. The team seems very good too – everyone I spoke to was on the ball.

We greatly valued our rental relationship with Ray White and it seemed only natural to place the sale of the house in their hands once we decided to sell. Alistair and Tiana were the sales team.  I always thought that auction was the way to go and Alistair concurred with this. As the sale process proceeded it became even more apparent that the house should be auctioned. This was because of the low offers that were being given. Rather than make the process somewhat piecemeal by taking and rejecting offers it was better to place the potential buyers in the competitive situation that an auction almost always delivers. We were very happy with this process although it required a few machiatos on the day to settle our nerves. We found Alistair and Tiana very easy to deal with and were impressed by their friendly presentation and professionalism. Potential buyers would have similarly influenced.  We were very happy with the whole process;  the house was tenanted and Alistair and Tiana had the tenant on side and looked after throughout the entire process. This was very important for us.  The cleaning of the house and yard was carried out skilfully and professionally, the photos looked fabulous both on-line and on the flyer, great feedback and contact through entire process, the almost continual movement in bids at the auction owing to the good selection of bidders that Alistair and Tiana had delivered from the Open Houses and finally Alistair’s skill and involvement in the auction process we believe delivered the best possible price that was available on the day. We are sad that our relationship with the Ray White team is coming to an end and would have no hesitation in recommending the property management or sales team.
